Children of a Faceless God – Symphony X (Intro)
Hear the growl of my Warwick Thumb 4 BO. I covered the most metal intro of all time; Children of a Faceless God.

Here is a cover of The Architect by progressive metal band Haken. I used tapping, which makes string changes comfortable and sounds even.
I only used the bass effect called “Modern Combo”. It comes bundled with Logic Pro X.
I am struggling with the time management of my hobbies. Happy to spend some time with my bass again. Here is the full bass play along of Inferno from The Odyssey album
After having all recording/studio issues with previous attempts, we managed to record the song from different cities (Berlin/ İstanbul). The first 2 recordings were done at studio with drums but we weren’t happy at all with the sound. You can check our first take from rehearsal here. Anyway hope you enjoy it!
Hey there! Here is the full playalong of The Pot as I recently shared on Instagram. I played it by ear but here is the tab for you that you can practice the song. Scroll down on the page and click the Guitar Pro Tab button. Don’t forget the tune the E string to D.
If you are curious about the tone, I used Line6 POD Farm software and mixed some distortion and overdrive pedals. So everything is digital.
I want to enrich the website with additional content; bass only tracks, tabs and instructions. So feel free to comment on this post and advise what would you like to see here.

I am back with better equipment and better quality videos. Since I moved to Berlin, this is the first time that I have everything to start recording again. Therefor I am happy to share my newest play through video; Electro Step by Wojtek Pilichowski. Here is the original song.

I’ve always been a fan of the melodic and progressive sections in songs. This time I played through the vocal parts of Inspiration by Azize Mustafazade (or Aziza Mustapha Zadeh). Azize Mustafazade is a master at fusioning jazz and Azerbajian improvisational music style “mugam”. Head over to her Spotify page for more.
I tweaked Ida Nielsen’s bass groove a little bit and wanted to give a try to my new Warwick. Warwick Thumb came out to be a real slap machine. Wider string spacing (which is around 20mm) makes it really easy to play. Enjoy it!
I played one of my favourite songs as a split screen cover. This version (all the chord changes) is actually Victor Wooten’s arrangement. It is a great practice song if you have a loop pedal. I just wanted to make the video visually more appealing, so I recorded 3 layers of audio; bass line, chords and solo. Enjoy it.
Equipment;
Yamaha RBX6JM, Line 6 UX2 Audio interface + Pod Farm 2,5 software.
Checking different camera angles for my videos. The mount that used for my Sony Action Cam is really heavy (Clip Mount – VCT-CM1), I would recommend another clip mount for it. It totally changes the balance of the bass and makes it really hard to play.
The tune is one of my favourites. I learnt it few years ago and there are some great tabs on internet. Head over here for the tab. Keep rocking!
